Why Us

Nature & Nurture

Homestead Forest School will encourage your child to be happy and emotionally connected with themselves and nature. Our program is excellent for children with ADD/ADHD and other challenges.

You will notice positive changes that outdoor learning has on your child!

Outdoor Play

Activities include tracking, climbing trees, learning about nature, messy play, storytelling, animals, family farm facts, and den building. Children learn how to move around the outdoors safely and how to take safe risks. Campfire cooking, bug hunting, plant identification, tracking, using small tools, farm chores, animal husbandry, food systems and so much more.

Age Group

The program is developed for children between 5-12 years old. Our school operates at a 7 to 1 ratio.

Siblings will receive a discounted rate if they are all enrolled at the same time.

Program is run by Salisha Peters.

Qualified Teachers

We hire highly experienced team leaders who study in the fields relating to nature, farming, and childcare. We also run our Forest School Training for all staff and volunteers. We are people who truly love children and want to see them grow in harmony with nature.
